Simple Breakfast Smoothie

This is my standard go-to breakfast smoothie, while the ingredients pictured below are fresh, it is perfectly fine to do this using frozen fruits.


Essential components:
• Banana, cut into chunks
• Berries of your choice
• Rolled oats
• Soymilk

• Mix everything and blend for about a couple of minutes until smooth (add ice/water if you want it to be thinner)

Tips and thoughts:
• I like to buy (usually discounted price) overripe banana from the grocer, cut them into chunks, and freeze them- perfect for smoothies
• I’m only using strawberry here, but I usually use mixed frozen berry
• If your blender isn’t strong enough, you may have to turn the oats into flour first in a food processor
