Curry Pepper with Nori salad

Another extremely simple side-dish that is very refreshing and highlights the sweetness of bellpeppers. If you have never appreciated bellpeppers’ natural flavours before, this is one way of doing it.

Essential components:
• Yellow or red bellpepper (green just won’t do for this, we need the sweetness) – sliced to chunks
• Lemon juice
• 1 sheet of nori

Pantry items and other stuff:
• Salt
• Curry powder
• Sesame seeds

Method:
• Toast the nori on top of your stove very briefly (All you need to do is to literally ‘wave’ your nori a little bit above the flames a few times, you will smell the aroma of the sea)
• In a bowl, add the bellpepper, lemon juice, few pinches of curry powder, a small sprinkle of salt, mix, then crumble the toasted nori on top
• Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and serve

Thoughts:
• Instead of lemon juice you can use any other acid, mild ones are the best, think rice wine vinegar or sushi vinegar
